Paul Jackson Pollock, known widely as Jackson Pollock, was an American painter born in 1912 who influenced the abstract expressionist movement. He has a highly individual style coined “drip painting”, which creates a swell of abstract lines and colour, generating emotional resonance. His work peered through a new modern lens that gave way to an artistic movement yet seen.
