Winslow Homer, born in 1836 in the United States, created in the realm of realism and tile club. He was known for his landscape paintings, most notably, his marine subjects, and print making. Homer’s creations took you to the sea through his utilization of water colours and oil paints; his ability to capture the lucidity of waves was magnificent. Educated in the National Academy Museum and School, he was considered one of the leading painters in the United States in the early 19th century before he passed on in 1910.
